"Il Pontormo" - Utility Historical Knife
Inspired by a subject painted in 1525 by Jacopo da Pontormo in his "Cena in Emmaus"painting, currently exposed at the Uffizzi Gallery in Florence, this utility knife is an historical statement unique in its genre.
The blade, measuring 17 cm (6.6") has a soft and natural curve that makes this knife extremely easy to handle and favors multiple uses in the kitchen. Traditionally conceived as a "post hunt" tool, the Pontormo's agility becomes useful in the preparation of meats and vegetables alike.
Offered with its dedicated wood block and black lucite handle this piece is a true testament of Tuscan Heritage in the kitchen.
